Monmouthshire performer Greg Pritchard sang to a sold out audience at The Congress Theatre, Cwmbran, last Thursday (23rd September).
Beacon reporter Laura Thomas went along to see him perform – and to meet some of Greg's biggest fans.
The first thing noticeable about Greg when he appears on stage is that he is genuinely happy to be there.
With his humble smile and obvious nerves he is very endearing, captivating the audience with his unusual talent.
As a support act to female impersonator Ceri Dupree, Greg had a big act to follow.
But his performances of 'Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again', 'Time to Say Goodbye' and 'Barcelona' charmed the audience, with applause filling the theatre after every song.
Having just a short amount of time, when asked how he felt the gig went, Greg said: "I had a great time on stage.
"Unfortunately, the theatre cut my set short.
"They wanted Ceri to perform more of his sketches, which is a shame for me, but I still had fun."
Greg has been into singing since he was very young.
"I used to sing along to Whitney Houston and Celine Dion with my mum when I was little," he said.
"Since then I have just retained my ability to sing at a high pitch and practice all the time."
And Greg has been working hard over the past couple of months.
"I've been recording some new material which features original twists on opera classics," he said.
"I'm doing a few charity gigs soon which are going to be brilliant and I've also been working on developing the technicalities of my voice."
Having not been to drama school, Usk-born Greg was given a break on popular ITV show 'Britain's Got Talent'.
He enjoyed his experience on the show and credits it as a springboard for his career.
"It was a good platform to start me off," he said.
"Having had very little experience before, it gave me a good taster.
"Now I just have to work really hard as this industry is very hard to break."
But Greg isn't without support.
He has a dedicated group of fans who follow him to performance after performance.
Travelling from Essex, Yorkshire and Scotland, Greg certainly has a solid fanbase.
Linda Blackburn said: "Greg is absolutely brilliant.
"He has improved so much since he was on Britain's Got talent."
Ruth Gates said: "We love watching him perform.
"His voice is amazing."
Greg showed his appreciation for their support by thanking them after his first song.
And as he continues to work hard, these are fans which will no doubt follow him all the way.
You can catch Greg performing at this year's Children in Need celebrations in Blackpool on Friday 19th November.
