SIR, Many thanks to all those who volunteered to help with the Caldicot food collection at the Waitrose supermarket in Caldicot on Saturday (19th April). As a result of the day's efforts we have gathered over 20 green trays worth of food, plus over £20 in donations. This is a huge amount of food which, I know from experience, will keep the warehouse team at the foodbank fairly busy from Wednesday next week. Without the volunteers, the generosity of Waitrose's customers and the fantastic co-operation of Waitrose's staff, this would not have been possible.
