MADAM,

There is a refugee crisis taking place throughout Europe that many in this country feel should be responded to appropriately by our government.

Taking in 20,000 of these desperate people over the next five years is not an adequate response. In fact, is far from a decision you’d expect of a ‘civilised’ country and I do urge you to draw attention to this fact, for example, by calling on our local politicians to pressure the government in this regard. ?

The government urgently need to be taken to task about how much they are failing in their humanitarian duty in this regard.
