For the last 10 years two church groups have run “Christmas Together”, a traditional lunch held on Christmas Day for those in the Monmouth area for whom the occasion could otherwise be a lonely or bleak prospect.

This year it is being hosted at both Wyesham Christian Fellowship and Monmouth Methodist Church which indicates how numbers have risen over time.

There is no charge and as well as the food, there is music and above all warm companionship and last year they were visited by the mayor which everyone enjoyed.

The event has received wonderful support from individuals and businesses and it is a real joy to be involved.

Local transport is arranged as needed.
