The 'Bra Girls' have completed the second of 10 marathons they have lined up this year.

Julie Rogers and Julia Rennie, of Puddleducks nursery in Raglan, are taking on the 12-month challenge to raise money for breast cancer charity Walk the Walk.

They travelled to Spain on Sunday 6th March for the Barcelona Marathon, which starts and ends at Avenida Maria Cristina, taking in various parts of the city.

The girls said: "The weather was beautiful, with the sun shining throughout the whole marathon.

"Walking with 15,000 other runners, the race was a tough one due to strict time restrictions and opening the roads behind us.

"We kept up with the runners and crossed the line in just under six hours to receive our 'Marato' medals."

Julia and Julie thanked everyone for the messages of support they received through Facebook and Twitter.
