SIR, The frivolous complaints surrounding the car parking charges for Waitrose never cease to amaze and frustrate me. Against the current problems in our society and further afield, surely a car parking charge should be the least of our worries. I'm proud of the people of Monmouth for displaying passion, however if this passion and drive for change was harnessed into national or worldwide problems, I wonder how many impoverished lives would benefit.
