I wish to express my thanks to you for publishing the article about my forthcoming change of career and my fundraising efforts for VSO.

I am delighted to report that I have now surpassed my target of £1,500, and I would like to express my thanks to all the kind and generous people of Monmouth who contributed to this total and helped to make such an excellent result possible.

VSO is a well-established and effective international development charity which places people at the heart of its work, empowering individuals and communities to bring about positive change in their lives.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to play a practical part in this change.
