THE Savoy Youth Theatre’s annual pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, is in full swing complete with colourful costumes, fairy dust and a beloved cow called Daisy.

Jack and the Beanstalk features professional actors who star alongside members of the youth theatre academy.

This year’s pantomime follows Dame Ivana Oohmpalot and Jack’s many siblings as they tragically have to sell their cow Daisy. Instead of finding a bag full of gold from the sale of Daisy, Jack discovers nothing but beans.

The show features a number of well-known songs such as ‘Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile’ from Annie, ‘Bills’ by Lunchmoney, ‘Favourite Things’ from The Sound of Music and ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ by Cyndi Lauper.

The final performances will take place today (30th December) at 2pm and 6pm and tomorrow (31st December) at 12pm and 4pm.
