Friday's rain brought flash flooding to Rockfield road and caused traffic to be diverted through the new estate. The road level had been raised a few years ago to stop the road from flooding, with special kerbstones to run the surface water off into a nearby culvert. However, the area affected still remains prone to flash flooding.
