Young rowers Jess Boon and Megan Jephcote have won through to the Junior Inter Regional Rowing Finals in Nottingham in a week's time.
The girls, from the Forest of Dean, had to row up an extra year to compete but got through and are now looking forward to the experience of taking part in a major final.
Jess and Megan will be representing Wales, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset.
