After the Methodist Church in Trellech closed recently, the First World War memorial plaque was offered to Penallt Old Church where it will be re-dedicated on Tuesday 11th November 2025 at a service at 10.45 to which everyone is most warmly invited.

During the service Peter Garwood will speak about some of those named on the plaque. It is hoped that any relatives of those commemorated will join us, perhaps with family stories, photographs or other memorabilia.

The 12 names on the plaque are: Albert C. Baldwin, Alfred Croudace, William Heath, William Hope, George J. Howells, John James, William Roberts, Ivor Rowland, Charles Stockholm, James G. Wallen, William Watkins & George Williams.
