Both Bob and Jason Morgan had a Coracle Stages they would rather forget for different reasons.
Camarthen and Epynt Motor Clubs had attracted a good quality entry to Sweet Lamb for 40 stage miles.
Bob, together with Ade Williams in the Team Winner Garage Impreza, got off to a good start to hold a top five place after Stage 5 having played about with new suspension settings, but oil pressure problems brought their event to an end.
Bob's son Jason, with Gareth Pritchard on the notes in the other Winner Garage Impreza, rolled out of the event on Stage 2.
This coming Sunday (31st July) sees the Harry Flatters Rally on the Epynt Military Ranges.
Brecon Motor Club have attracted a very good entry of modern and historic cars, and local interest surrounds the historic rally with Cliffy Simmons alongside Simon Tysoe in the RS1800, Jason Gardner and Matt Davis in the Brecon View Plumbing mk1 Escort, Steve Loveridge and Russell Joseph complete the trio in the Mini GT.
This will be Loveridge's first event for many years and he always goes well on Epynt.
