Through your columns, I would like to say a big thank you to Mr David Harrison, local historian, for an enjoyable and informative afternoon last Saturday.

A group of "curious" walkers joined him to explore the history of the cemetery and of some of the more famous occupants!

The Trail is well worth a visit and I thank the Beacon for announcing this walk in last week's issue.

I wonder if you could persuade Mr Harrison to write a regular column for you!
