Monmouth Twinning Association members have recently returned from a very successful visit to Carbonne, just south of Toulouse, celebrating 50 years of friendship and twinning between our towns.

Both towns are keen to continue the twinning well into the future and hope to involve a number of children and their families in upcoming activities and visits. Several families from Carbonne have expressed an interest in establishing contact with families from Monmouth who wish to begin a pen friend exchange or consider a visit. No knowledge of the French language is needed, just an interest in meeting new friends from France and establishing new connections.

A coffee morning is being held from 10am to 12pm on 22nd November 2025 at Ty Price Monmouth for anyone who would like to find out more about the project for family exchanges or learn a little more about the Twinning Association in general.
