Thank you for passing on the email to Mike Tamplin. We had a good chat last night and we are going to meet up next week.

It's 60 years since my parents and my sisters and brother moved from Troy to Watereperry in Oxfordshire. Mike filled me in on some of my parents early years in Troy.

My parents lived in gypsy roll top caravan. I have been trying to research my family tree for a few years with no luck. I will now have to try the gypsy records. My grandfather was over 6ft tall and wore a top hat.

It would be good to see if anyone else remembers my family in the area. My father worked for the Meredith family for over 50 years. He moved with the farmer in 1949 and stayed with them until they sold in the 1990s.I am looking forward to meeting Mike to see if I can find more on my family
