A large crowd, the town band, a bouncy castle, stalls and a barbecue all contributed to a spectacular opening of the new Woodland View play area by Monmouth MP David Davies last Saturday (16th July).

Organised by the Wyesham Play Project, this special event saw the return of a much-needed facility to Wyesham.

As the morning storm clouds parted, the Monmouth Town Band played the most uplifting music to get everyone in the right mood to enjoy a wonderful afternoon celebrating the opening of the new play equipment.

"It is really a great pleasure to open this new play area in Woodland View" said Mr Davies.
