A TRADITIONAL epiphany party was held in Raglan Church last Friday (6th January).

The well attended event included an informal quiz, a raffle and a delicious supper of chicken, followed by a choice of fruit crumble or trifle, with money raised going towards church funds.

Those present, including Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay, were delighted to join parishioners and friends were welcomed by the Vicar, Rev Tim Clement, who entertained with a selection of jokes from his vast collection.

Speaking after the event, Mr Ramsay said: “As usual, it was a really enjoyable evening.

“A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who supported the event and in particular to Margaret Lawrence and her team of helpers for putting on such a fabulous supper.”
