On Saturday, July 4th, the gardens of Treowen, a Grade 1 Listed Jacobean Manor House in Wonastow, just outside Monmouth, will open from 2- 5pm for the National Garden Scheme’s (NGS) charities.
Expect herbaceous borders, a formal parterre and a raised walk round the garden giving beautiful views of the restored medieval fishponds and the surrounding countryside.
House tours and homemade teas, both in aid of Wonastow church, will be available at an extra cost. Buy your garden tickets, (£6, children free) on the day, when you can also book a house tour and homemade tea.
For directions see the “How to find us” on https://www.treowen.co.uk/
Parking is opposite the entrance to the house, half a mile down the drive.
