THE Savoy Theatre has been nominated for Theatre of the Year on the Muddy Stilettos awards.

Monmouth’s Savoy is at the heart of the community, having served the community since the 1640s when it was originally The Bell Inn and is located on the oldest working theatre site in Wales.

The theatre is used by many residents in the town, bringing people together and for many they will have a lot of memories there.

Over the years The Savoy has offered an array of entertainment for people in the community, such as drama, comedy, music and films and have featured many notable performers.

The entry closes on May 26, but residents can have their say and cast their vote on the Muddy Stilettos website.
