MONMOUTH Town Council is holding an outdoor cinema event this September to mark the landmark occasion of the reopening of Inglis Bridge.
The event is taking place on Sunday September 20 at Vauxhall Fields and will bring the community together to mark this special occasion after the bridge was inaccessible for some time.
The bridge was lifted from its original position onto the field adjacent whilst it was being repaired but is now back in its original place. Despite the challenges faced along the way, having this bridge back will provide another popular walkway residents can use once again.
The town council asked over on their Facebook page what films residents would like to see ensuring everyone feels included in the celebration.
