The International Welsh Rarebit Centre in Defynnog is proud to present a new exhibition of traditional and contemporary icon paintings by respected Welsh artist Frances Green.

The exhibition brings together a collection of Frances‘ art, showcasing her mastery of egg tempera, gold leaf, to portrait images of saints and angels. Saints David, Melangell, Mondomnoc and Afán are among the Welsh Saints on display along side more traditional depictions of the Madonna and child and other notable Saints If you like hares there are also golden images of the revered animal. The show offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience rich artistic heritage alongside the Café’s signature Welsh culinary tradition.

The exhibition runs from 1st-31st October, Weds to Sunday10-4pm
