THIS year Monmouth Comprehensive School is delighted to celebrate four students who have gained offers from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

Gurpreet Bal is going on to study Engineering at Jesus College, Oxford; Jess Fielding will read German and Portuguese at Jesus College, Oxford; Chloe Robertson will study Chemistry Wadham College, Oxford and Jago Strong-Wright goes on to read Natural Sciences at St John’s College, Cambridge.

A spokesperson from the school said: “Monmouth Comprehensive School is incredibly proud of the achievement of all its students.

“Every year, for the last four years, a number of students have been successful in gaining a place at either Oxford or Cambridge and the school has built strong relationships with both universities.”
