A limited number of Earlybird tickets are now on sale for Redbrook's Live on the Wye festival, which takes place on 12th and 13th June and is sponsored for a third year by the Monmouthshire and Chepstow Beacon.
Tickets can be purchased at last year's price of £5 per adult until the ticket allocation has sold out, or by 31st May at the latest. All proceeds go to the Redbrook Village Trust.
Organisers have also announced the first bands for this year's line up, many of whom have received regional acclaim.
Broken Fires are an alternative pop band who write simple songs with big melodies. Wow Signal, pictured above right, are a four-piece indie rock band based in London and formed in Swansea.
They worked with producer Tom Stanley of Kaiser Chiefs fame on their latest single, 'Last Days'. Meanwhile, Maddie Jones, pictured below, is a young songwriter known for her captivating voice and multi-instrumental songs spanning folk and jazz influences. All three acts appeared in the Wales Online top 51 best Welsh bands of 2014.
They are joined by Clyde Jefferson and John Adams, both popular highlights from last year's festival. Clyde Jefferson mixes powerful delivery and feel-good factor, combining reggae, funk and soul. John Adams is a talented singer songwriter from south Wales whose debut album, 'The pavement is my stage', recently reached number seven in the iTunes chart.
The festival will once again work in partnership with the Bell Inn at Redbrook to host a smaller fringe stage on the Friday evening, 12th June, with a number of folk and acoustic acts. Riverside camping will be available for festival-goers wishing to attend both days and there will also be a new arts and crafts market.
The festival's music organiser, Jon Sheasby, said: "We are proud to be continuing our reputation for attracting talented, original bands from across Wales and beyond. It promises to be a fantastic, diverse line-up with many acts still to be confirmed. We are also building on our family programme this year, with even more activities for children."
Earlybird tickets cost £5 and children aged 12 and under can enter free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are available now at http://www.liveonthewye.co.uk">www.liveonthewye.co.uk or via
