On the second Monday of each month Bridges holds an afternoon tea from 2.30 -- 4pm. The cost is £7 and everything is homemade by a group of talented ladies.

Everyone is welcome but at present the clientele is largely elderly and some are infirm.

I am trying to set up a car bank scheme to transport people to and from Bridges for this and possibly for other events.

If we can get enough drivers you would be called upon only rarely, insurance is covered, mileage costs paid and you would get an afternoon tea into the bargain.
