A GROUP of keen cyclists will be riding 90 miles in the Wales Velothon in June to raise money for their charity.

Dr Bryan Hughes, Dr Alun Edwards, Dr Waz Chaudhry, Dr Meg Williams and Dr Amy Howell will be sharing the ride

21 Plus is a support group, based in Monmouthshire, which helps children with Down's Syndrome and their families.

In July they are running a specialist, intensive speech therapy and sport camp which will be the first time this type of intervention has been held in Wales.

It promises to be an exciting opportunity for the children to try new sports and receive speech therapy input from a group of specialists.

"If we want our children to talk, they need something to talk about." said organiser Victoria Hughes.

"Our team of five cyclists will be donning their lycra and riding 90 miles in The Velothon Wales to raise money for the camp.

"Please give us your support; you can donate by texting  "VELO21 £(enter amount)" send your text to 70070. Or you can give our riders a cheer on Sunday 14th June."
