A SEVENTIES ’Vinyl Night’ on Saturday 19th November raised £1,200 for charity Prostate Cancer UK. The event, organised by Debbie Hutchinson, saw a packed dance floor all night.

Music was provided by Monmouth born DJ Pete Stead who was joined for the evening by Terry Cleaves, reminiscent of when they started out some 40 years ago around the pubs and clubs of Monmouth. They said: “This night really took us back and there is nothing that can recreate the sound of vinyl which we played on the original high quality decks.

“Debbie has organised two vinyl nights alongside several others at Bridges and they have been well supported at total sell outs.

“She was helped by Jan Hartley and Kathryn Wells for this occasion. We all absolutely love Bridges and Monmouth are very luckily to have such a fantastic venue which is absolutely perfect for our nights.
