SIR,

I am disgusted about a sight I saw at Monmouth Leisure Centre last Saturday morning, A man in a Silver estate car was parked in a disabled bay next to the swimming pool without displaying the Blue Disabled parking permit, a second car turned up and showed its Blue badge and asked to park, the owner of the parked car became abusive after having to move.

He knows who he is and it is only a philistine who thinks he is better than a disabled person, showing no respect. Shame on you sir!

Does the Council have no checking system against such idiots parking in disabled bays?

I can only apologise to the disabled chap and his family as not all of us treat people in that manner.
