A MALE cyclist was killed yesterday (28th February) in a traffic collision in the Llansoy area.

Gwent Police officers are appealing for information following the collision, which happened just before 11am.

The collision involved one pedal cyclist and no other vehicles.

A 46 year old male from the Pontypool area was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The road has now re-opened.
