Drugs raid
A QUANTITY of cannabis was seized when police executed a search warrant on premises at Howells Place, Monmouth, on Saturday night. An arrest was made and inquiries are continuing.
Underage drinking
POLICE are concerned about a number of incidents of under age drinking in the Monmouth area.
Sgt Mike Gray said that over the past few weeks there had been a number of incidents when officers had apprehended youths aged from 11 who had alcohol and were clearly intoxicated.
"Monmouth Police are appealing for parents to be fully aware of what their children are doing when they are not at home," said Sgt Gray.
"There is cause for concern because when the children are intoxicated they risk being placed in dangerous situations of which they are not fully aware."
