Youth arrested
A LOCAL youth was arrested and charged with theft of a green Mercedes "people carrier" in the early hours of Saturday morning. A second youth was cautioned for his involvement in the incident.
Police officers had been called to an incident in which the vehicle overturned midway between Newcastle and Rockfield.
Raglan alert
POLICE were called to an incident at Raglan in the early hours of Saturday morning after it was believed a man had threatened a woman with a gun.
Police contained the area and carried out inquiries, but after a short time it was discovered that a weapon had not been involved in the disturbance.
Two arrested
TWO local men were arrested and cautioned for being drunk and disorderly following a disturbance in Church Street, Monmouth, on Friday night.
