A Monmouth town councillor has hit out after stones were thrown at his front door.

Councillor John Fletcher has campaigned against drug use and anti-social behaviour in and around Carbonne Close and Buchanan Close for more than 15 years.

He says things had improved over the past two or three years but were starting to get back to the bad old days.

Stones were thrown at Cllr Fletcher's house last Thursday night (31st March), causing damage to his front door.
