SIR,
I live in a small village and the precept was introduced several years ago. We were told it was going to be the same cost across the board but it is banded and they are going to raise it again by 20%.
The local community is not happy about it and would be grateful if you could shed any light on this matter, or give advice, etc., so as to clear the air at the next town meeting.
