With reference to the proposed closure of Inglis Bridge to vehicles, I know in registering my concern and dismay, I speak for a wide cross-section of the community who regularly use Vauxhall Fields via this route.

These include ramblers, joggers, fishermen, dog walkers, parents with young children, and disabled people who are brought by car with mobility scooters and zimmer frames, to enable them to enjoy the county in a safe, level environment.

Some even come regularly from Newport and Ebbw Vale.

We all hope a satisfactory solution can be met so that all can continue to enjoy Vauxhall.
