Raglan Community Council are inviting Monmouthshire County Council's Director of Resources, Mr S Greenslade, to attend the next meeting of the Community Council to discuss concerns over the proposed new school and village hall.

At the council's July meeting, the Chairman, Counc Trevor Phillips expressed strong concern about the way in which the County Council were approaching the development of a new school and, in particular, the poor facilities proposed to be provided for the community within it.

Members of the public were allowed to contribute to the discussion and Mr D. Brown said he was concerned that the County Council were proposing to rebuild on the existing site over a period of years, with the children still on site and facilities such as the canteen and the school hall out of commission for many months.
