The Lower Wye Ramblers (LWR) invite you to join them on an 6-mile moderate walk on Sunday, February 13.

This walk, known as the ‘Where the Curlew Calls’, is just one of the walks in the LWR’s book ‘Lower Wye Rambles’, which to date has donated over £10,000 to help organisations such as local wildlife trusts improve access for walkers, for example, by replacing stiles, footbridges, and gates and improving paths.

Starting at 10am from Trellech Surgery on Roman Park View, Trellech, the walk route takes in the fields and woods to the west of Trellech and offers wonderful views. Please bring a drink, snack and packed lunch with you and wear suitable clothing and footwear for the walk.

For more information and contact details for the walk leaders, and for details on how to purchase the booklet (which contains details of 16 walks and costs only £4.80), please go to the group’s website, www.ramblers.org.uk/lower-wye.
