It is with sadness I read in the Argus about the Jerome Gatehouse Collection Trust, a Military Band Archive desperately needing a place to set up a museum.

I was born and brought up in Raglan in Monmouthshire and I know how well we care about its heritage.

Is there anywhere in Monmouthshire that has a place for this Gatehouse Collection Turst of Military Band history and memorabilia then please get in touch with Anne Gatehouse on 01633 781612.

She is doing a wonderful job of preserving her late husband's collection which is unique and now contains over 40,000 items and will be of interest to people from around the world.
