Waitrose held a presentation evening on Thursday 27th January, when cheques were given out to the three good causes; nominated by the store and voted for by shoppers.
First was St Anne's Hospice, a 10 bed specialist palliative care unit in Newport , who received £630.
Secondly, the Off Street Project, a group of youngsters looking to build their own skate park, had a cheque for £220.
The third charity to benefit was Swan Rescue, who received £180.
