MADAM,

Your readers may have noticed that recently the Monmouth Litter Group has been organising a competition for local school children. They have been asked to draw posters or take images about issues to do with our local litter problems and to suggest ways to improve things.

The entries will be on display at Shire Hall on the evening of Tuesday 6th June from 6pm. Prizes and certificates will be presented for the best entries at 7pm by Robert Munslow, the trans-Atlantic rower.

Anyone interested in seeing what the children have suggested and in helping to tackle our town’s litter problem will be most welcome to come along to Shire Hall.
