CHEPSTOW'S Castell Roc festival attracted 5000 music fans to its castle setting over the last two weekends in August. Seven shows wowed crowds – with big names like The Wurzels, The South and Rhydian Roberts proving the crowd favourites. Organiser Carol Mutlow from Hannah's Music said: "All the shows were very popular. The biggest crowd turned out for the Wurzels but Rhydian's evening ended with a standing ovation. "I have already been approached by a number of promoters wanting nights next year, so planning is already underway!" The festival raised more than £650 for Children in Need through the Winds of Time holistic fair set up at the venue.
