CHEPSTOW Agricultural Show welcomed thousands of visitors to its annual show last Saturday (8th August).
The event, held at Chepstow Racecourse, featured agricultural and horticultural competitions, countless trading stands and many classic cars.
The show was opened by President Neville Waters and Lord Lieutenant of Gwent, Sir Simon Boyle.
The main ring featured the likes of Meirion Owen’s Quack Pack and the daring Galloping Acrobatics.
A display of vintage vehicles proved hugely popular with visitors who flocked to see the range of cars at the showground.
The Curre and Llangibby Pony Club catered well for equestrian lovers with their mounted games and foxhound parade.
Chepstow Male Voice Choir performed some Welsh classics for the crowds and the show concluded with children’s races.
Howard Nash, treasurer at Chepstow Show, said: “We were blessed with some great weather and the public responded!
“We believe total attendance on the day to be around 7,000.”
