CHEPSTOW Library and Macmillan Cancer Support will join forces next Tuesday (18th March) to host an afternoon of gentle exercise to help people receiving cancer treatment.
Activities will be based at Chepstow Library and will include a short walk and chat, a gentle Tai Chi session and an introduction to Wii hab.
All sessions are led by trained instructors and last approximately half an hour. Participants can take part in more than one activity.
Research by Macmillan Cancer Support has shown that activity may help people undergoing treatment for cancer to cope with fatigue and may even boost their mood.
All Monmouthshire libraries have free cancer information areas and offer drop-in cancer information sessions.
