MENCAP held their annual Christmas party at Chepstow Rugby Club last Sunday (7th December).

The charity care for and support people with learning difficulties.

Local Assembly Member Nick Ramsay who is a vice president of Chepstow and District Mencap was pleased to take part in the festive event.

He said: "I spent an enjoyable time with the club members and volunteers on Sunday at their Christmas party.

"It was great spending time chatting with the Mencap volunteers and hearing about all the good work being done in Monmouthshire.

"Mencap not only helps care for people with learning difficulties, but provides other support too, such as gardening for people being cared for, and offers a wide range of help to those needing assistance.

"Congratulations to all those involved with this very worthwhile charity."
