LAST Saturday (28th March) judging took place for Chepstow's walking carnival monarch. Judge Irene Williams (Chair of ComBaT), assisted by a senior representative from Bulwark Scouts, made the following appointments:

Carnival Queen: 11-year-old Marley Fitzgerald who is currently a pupil at Thornwell Primary School.

Carnival Princesses were: 10-year-old Mae Steadman – The Dell Primary School, eight-year-old Polly Steadman – The Dell Primary School, seven-year-old Miaya Norman – Woolaston Primary and Two-year-old Sophia Norman.
