An event at Chepstow Racecourse has raised nearly £30,000 for charity.
The popular annual Royal Ascot Ladies Day Lunch was organised by long standing supporter of the racecourse Eddie Hayward and his daughter Julie.
Eddie, chairman of Chepstow Plant International, is vice chairman and trustee of The Noah's Ark Appeal for the Children's Hospital for Wales.
He said: "This event is now in its 20th year and I am delighted to raise such a fantastic amount for The Children's Hospital in Cardiff."
A fantastic £28,575 was raised on the day, with around 300 guests eating in Silks restaurant and enjoying live racing form Royal Ascot, as well as taking part in a Gold Cup raffle and an auction.
The money raised will go towards the Noah's Ark Appeal Splish Splash Splosh campaign to fund a hydrotherapy pool at the Children's Hospital.
