Crowned Superbike 125 Champion, Luke Jones, was not prepared to rest on his laurels at Brands Hatch at the weekend - he went out and won the race in style. Proving what a great champion he is, Luke, from Ross delighted in the good weather and came first in both of the practice sessions to secure pole position for this last race of the 125 championship. Luke led from start to finish with a six or seven riders scrapping it out behind him for the places. However, it was very close at the end with Luke taking the chequered flag just 0.019th of a second before Robbie Stewart, 2nd, and another 0.121 behind him was Ashley Beech. Luke is Herefordshire's first 125 British Superbike champion. He made 12 podium appearances in a row, and his placings were 3 1sts, 5 2nds, 4 3rds and 1 6th, accumulating 249 points. His grandfather and press agent was on the podium too, collecting the team Trophy for Team Jones.
