MONMOUTH Baptist Church will be the featured place of worship in the upcoming BBC Wales Celebration programme.

The show broadcasts from various Christian churches across Wales and gives listeners the chance to tune into worship across Wales and be encouraged by the word of God.

Reverend Jonathan Greaves is looking forward to the event. He said: “I hope people receive encouragement and join in the worship and get a flavour of what Monmouth Baptist Church has to offer.

“We’re an informal church with a mix of all ages. We’ve got a thriving toddler group, host the Monmouth Foodbank and run a coffee group.”

The themes of the evening will be ‘all nations praising God’ and ‘the impact of our words’.

The BBC will be recording the services tomorrow (6th November) and it is hoped people will attend and support the service.
