The Bryngwyn Rural Community Action Group this week expressed concern, but not surprise, at the decision by the Monmouthshire County Council's Planning Committee to approve the application to build a regional livestock market on greenfield land at High House Farm, Bryngwyn.

An earlier decision to approve the application was taken by the Committee in December, 2007. This decision was quashed by the High Court when Monmouthshire County Council failed to respond to a Judicial Review challenge.
