Whitchurch House residential care home, based near Ross-on-Wye, was delighted to host a coffee and cake morning for residents, families and neighbours last week to raise money for Macmillan, the cancer charity. Staff and families brought in home made cake with the Home also providing refreshments and entertainment.

Whitchurch's director, Ram Mahendran, a former Abergaveny resident, said "We were delighted to support this wonderful charity again this year. Few if any of us are not affected, directly or through family and friends, in some way by cancer and the Home will match the funds raised on the day to help ensure the best possible support for individuals and families affected."
