A public meeting is to be held on Tuesday 1st February to discuss the changes proposed by Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) to the county's car parking scheme.

Officers from the council will be present to answer your questions about the proposed changes.

The changes could include an increased rate in short stay car parks, a 24 hour rate in short term car parks and the abolition of all free car parks in the county.

The meeting has been called by Monmouth and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

The meeting will start at 6pm in the community room in the Shire Hall.

The consultation period on these proposed changes began on 10th January and runs until 18th February.
