NEW car park charging regimes are being introduced across the county from 17th March.
Cars will now be subject to a £1 per day charge in Cinderhill Street and the rowing club car parks in Monmouth and the Drill Hall and Station car parks in Chepstow following installation of the pay and display machines.
Station Road car park in Chepstow, opposite Tesco will adopt the current parking regime for long stay car parks.
Cars parking at Rogiet’s Playing Field car park will be subject to a daily charge of £2.
The car park outside the entrance to the Sportsground in Monmouth will now be solely for the use of Season Permit Holders only.
The good news for parents with toddlers is that designated spaces will be assigned for them in the Cattle Market and Glendower Street car parks in Monmouth and the Nelson Street and Welsh Street car park in Chepstow.
